Painting #6, 2011, Watercolour, A3
It all started with a comment on my blog. A man named Pye Palm said he wanted to order a painting from me. I was suspicious at first, but with a bit of advice from my dad, I answered his comment.
It turned out that he worked for the Swedish Whisky Federation and wanted me to paint a specific bottle for one of the members. My dad suggested to borrow it from a friend called Bernt Sjödin - and Pye protested! It was, in fact, Bernt who was going to receive the painting.
My dad then went on the quest to borrow the bottle from another friend. After that, he helped me build a still life in the study, and when the perfect photo was caught - the painting began.
The painting was given to Bernt Sjödin on the SWF Convention during Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival in September 2011.
